When I get to synagogue every morning, there are over 10 different flavors of coffee available to whoever wants them… no charge.. someone in the synagogue sets them up for all to take and enjoy… but over 10 different flavors, even a decaf…. Sounds a little excessive, wouldn’t you say?

We all have different tastes buds and preferences and that’s the way HaShem (G-d) made us… even the same person feels like having different types of coffee at different times (my first coffee is always a strong French roast, my second a Newmans special and for the 3rd I let our son surprise me)…

We ALL have to exercise… yes, some more than others, but I think (at least hope) everyone agrees exercise is essential for your body… do we all have to Jump Rope?…. No. Do we all have to run?…. No. Each of us has to find something that speaks to us… What should your priorities be when looking for an exercise program for you? Here a few starters:

1. FUN - if you don’t enjoy what you are doing, you will not stick with it and it will become a chore until you stop doing it

2. CHALLENGING - if it is too easy, you will not see results and also not stick with it. Plus, I think most people like to challenge themselves to prove that they accomplish more than they thought possible (or others thought about them)

3. COACH - a coach is helpful to guide you to exercise correctly and enough and most importantly, to hold you accountable

Yes, you guessed I think Jump Into Shape has all of these things… But, you know what? Jump Into Shape may not be for you and you have to find a place that has these things that you will stick with, at least give it a try…
