Who is this program for? This program is designed for anyone looking for a challenging workout that incorporates ¼ lb, ½ lb, 1 lb, and 2 lb jump ropes (or any ropes you have), along with weights and bodyweight exercises. It’s ideal for those wanting to build endurance and strength. **This class is NOT for beginners.** What do I need? 1. Ideally, a Crossrope set including the ¼ lb, ½ lb, 1 lb, and 2 lb ropes. If space is limited, you have neighbors below, can’t jump, or have limited mobility, you use a set of "ropeless ropes: (yes, they exist!). 2. A pair of free weights heavy enough to make 40-second sets challenging but doable. 3. An exercise mat. 4. A strong desire to push yourself. What can I expect? You’ll receive 3 video workouts per week. Each class is 20 minutes long and follows a progression using the 4 rope weights, bodyweight exercises and dumbbells. Workouts are broken into 9 ROUNDS, with short breaks between them to catch your breath and hydrate. The rest periods start at 30 seconds and decrease by 2 seconds every 3 classes—by the end of the program, breaks are just 16 seconds. Do I need experience with jump ropes, bodyweight exercises, or weights? YES. These workouts include long sets and are not suitable for beginners. If you're not used to jumping with the 1 lb or 2 lb ropes, you can modify with lighter ropes. What’s included in the program? 1. 3 video workouts per week for 8 weeks 2.
