Who should do this program? This program is for members who are ready for a serious cardio challenge and are comfortable with jump rope workouts. It is not for beginners. What can I expect? This program includes 24 classes, with 3 classes per week. Each class is 20 minutes and focuses entirely on jump rope work. You’ll rotate through different rope weights, including 1/4 lb, 1/2 lb, 1 lb, and 2 lb ropes. You can also use your own ropes or do the class with ropeless ropes if needed. Each class begins with a quick 45-second warm-up stretch, followed by a 15-second break. From there, you’ll be jumping continuously, with short 10-second breaks between sets. You’re going to sweat, get your heart rate up, and push yourself, but you’ll also have a lot of fun. Do I need experience with jump rope training? Yes. This program moves quickly and is designed for those who are already comfortable with jump rope and higher-intensity workouts. What equipment will I need? * Jump ropes (1/4 lb, 1/2 lb, 1 lb, and 2 lb recommended) * A mat (optional) * Water and a towel (you’ll need both) 💡 Free for regular monthly Jump Into Shape members!
