Who is this program for? This program is for anyone looking for a challenging workout that combines ¼ lb, ½ lb, 1 lb, and 2 lb jump ropes (or any ropes you have), along with weights and bodyweight exercises. It’s great for those who want to build both endurance and strength. Note: This class is NOT for beginners. What do I need? 1. Ideally, a Crossrope set with ¼ lb, ½ lb, 1 lb, and 2 lb ropes. If you have limited space, downstairs neighbors, can’t jump, or have mobility limitations, you can use a set of ropeless ropes (yes, they exist!). 2. Free weights at a resistance level where 45-second sets are challenging but manageable. 3. An exercise mat. 4. A strong desire to push yourself. What can I expect? You’ll get 3 video workouts per week, each 30 minutes long, using various combinations of the 4 ropes. Our intermediate-level classes feature jump rope sets of up to 75 seconds, with short 12-second breaks in between. Strength and bodyweight sets are typically 45 seconds each. Do I need experience with jump ropes, bodyweight training, or weights? Yes. These classes include long, intense sets and are not intended for beginners. If you're not comfortable with 1 lb and 2 lb ropes, you can modify using lighter options. What’s included in the program? 1. Three 30-minute video workouts per week for 8 weeks 2. Accountability — if you slack off, Moshe will call you out Note: Dumbbells and ropes are not included. This program is free for active Jump Into Shape members on a recurring monthly membership plan.
